LG has launched their latest G Flex2 smartphone in Korea, and release in global markets thereafter. Its single-SIM runs Anaroid 5.0 Lollipop with Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 (a 64-bit octa-core SoC) pled with the Adreno 430 GPU and 2GB of LPDDR4 RAM. It’s innovative 5.5-inch full-HD curved P-OLED display with 700mm-radius curvature with a 1080×1920 pixels resolution and a 403ppi pixel density.
Apple iPhone 6 plus users have discovered that tight pockets can bend the body of the phone and was major concern for Apple. But LG took a step further with their pioneering spirit and are released an already curved phone G Flex2 without any potential damages to components.
LG the Corning Gorilla Glass 3 has been toughened with special chemical treatment technology Durga- Guard glass has improved the durability by 30 per cent.
The company has also improved the ‘Self Healing’ back from the original LG G Flex, which will now get healed within 10 seconds at room temperature – significantly lower than the last-generation’s three minutes.
The Tri-band LG G Flex2 sports a rear 13.0-megapixel camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS+), dual-LED two-tone flash, and laser-guided autofocus and a 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera. The G Flex2 in 16GB and 32GB storage with Micro SD card has HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth Smart Ready (Apt-X) 4.1, NFC, SlimPort, GPS/ A-GPS, GLONASS, and USB 2.0. The device measures in at 149.1×75.3×7.1 – 9.4mm, and weighs 152 grams. The curved handset packs a curved embedded 3000mAh non-removable battery, and will initially be available in two colours: Platinum Silver and Flamenco Red.
