Little Venice Canal Cavalcade 2016
May bank holiday weekend marks the annual gathering of water lovers and decorated canal boats at the pretty waterways of Little Venice organized by the Inland Waterways Association. There are over 135 canal boats moored along the stretch of the Grand Union Canal between Warwick Avenue, Warwick Crescent and the Bloomfield Road for the Canalway Cavalcade. The nearest tube is Warwick Avenue. There are Morris dancers, children’s activities, Punch and Judy show, parades, stalls, live music and real ale tent. This is free event running over Saturday 30th April –Sunday 1st May 2016 from 12:00am, a very fun way to spend a sunny summers day. One boat was 100 years old decorated with great balloons to celebrate the landmark birthday.
