Maggie is the first UK’s Covid19 Pfizer-BioNTec vaccine recipient

Ninety-year-old Margaret Keenan known as Maggie is UK’s first vaccine recipient said she feels “so privileged” to receive the jab as the UK begins the biggest vaccination programme in NHS history.

The UK is the first country in the world to start using the Pfizer vaccine after regulators approved its use last week. Globally 68million people have been infected with Covid-19 and 1.55million have died and in the UK 1.7m infected and 61,434 have died according to Johns Hopkins University.
