Marcos Domingo Sanchez – Human in Negative at the Muse Portobello

The Muse Gallery Portobello is exhibiting this original collection of works – the first major London exhibition by international artist and photographer Marcos Domingo Sanchez. He specialises in using photographic negatives to create finely finished works.  Originally graduating in Architecture in Spain he worked in the field for some time before deciding to turn his talent towards photography involving fashion and artistic intepretations.  He has worked in Italy’s fashion capital Milan but says “Paris is my laboratory.  I develop a sensitivity which allows me to capture the soul of the models and to create emotional photography.  I also experiment by combining photography with other artistic techniques”.

“Barcelona is my personal projection with my own studio-gallery.  I develop my combined technique of photography and painting which becomes my artistic expression”.  Sanchez founded DeeBee Creatives in 2011 in Barcelona where he is artistic director and resident artist.  He works with artists like Joaquin Torres fusing fine art with photography and specialises in fashion in architecturally interior spaces.
