Massive landslide kills 80 and over 600 missing
A massive landslide in Guatemala killed 80 people and hundreds still missing. Rescue workers are continuing their search today with diggers ploughing through mounds of earth that destroyed over 100 homes in Santa Catarina Pinula about 10 miles east of the capital Guatemala City on Thursday 1st October 2015.
According to authorities there are still over 700 people missing. The landslide is one of the worst since October 2005, when heavy rainfall triggered a landslide in southwestern Guatemala
