A swan mourning another swan’s death on a high-speed railway line in Germany led to 23 trains  being delayed.

The swan had apparently got caught in an overhead power cable  and died instantly. The officials had to wait 50 minutes before lifting the dead swan  and its mourning partner was released into a nearby river.
