Mozart – famous for his prolific talent takes the stage again.

A new collection of Mozart’s work is now available at the cost of £300.  Mozart died aged only 35 and his wife had to pay his debts.  In the new collection by this prolific genius:-   This set will take 10 days and 10 nights to listen to and has 200 CDs which weigh 12 kg and will run for 14,400 minutes. It will be released in October to commemorate the 225th anniversary of the Austrian composer’s death in 1791.  The set includes performances by 60 orchestras, 600 soloists and includes Kiri Te Kanawa and Bryn Terfel.

Makes one wonder whether we are making the most of our time on the planet?  Mozart once said to a friend – “I assure you dear friend, nobody has devoted so much time and thought to competitions as I do”. That certainly seems to have a ring of truth in it. God rest Mozart.
