Mumbai Indians achieved their third straight win They won the toss and elected to bat first. LMO Simmons 71 off 56 and PA patel 59 off 36 put 111 runs opening stand which enabled them to post 172-3. In reply Kings XI Punjab apart from Murali Vijay 39 off 34 and David Miller 43 off 37 they kept losing wickets at regular intervals, could only post 149 for 7.
