Murdoch Tweets “USA needs a real black president.”

 

84 year old Media Mogul Rupert Murdoch wrote today on Twitter “Ben and Candy Carson terrific. What about a real black president who can properly address the racial divide?” He later recommended a magazine article on whether Obama had done enough to address the “racial divide” referred to in his Tweet.

Mr Carson has been praised by founder of F0x News Channel Murdoch before who called him “irreproachable on background, acheivements, character, vision”.  He regards the current President as “removed from African American experience as none of his ancestors were slaves in the US.”

The above in spite of the fact that Obama has long categorised himself as black, though he is in fact mixed race, and spoken frankly about the problems posed by racism in the USA.

Mr Carson raised controversy recently by saying a Muslim should not run for President as Islam was “inconsistent with the US Constitution.”
