Apple has officially announced smaller versions of the iPhone and iPad Pro at an event hosted in San Francisco and streamed online.

At the heart of the iPhone is the 64-bit Apple A9 processor together with the embedded M9 motion processor, and can support hands-free “Hey Sin” prompting, the same as the iPhone 6S which means it can play latest games. The camera is also the same  12–megapixel iSight Camera with a dual-tone flash and ability to shoot Live Photos used in 6S. The new phone has faster LTE, faster Wi-Fi (802-11ac) and better battery life, new microphones and addition of Apple Pay support.

The new iPhone SE has the same processing and graphics performance of the larger Apple 6S and can capture 4K videos and the new iPad Pro will have a 9.7 inch screen the same size as the original iPad. The iPhone SE will be available in 110 countries by end of May 2016, with a starting price of  £277/ £346 ($399/$499). The new iPad Pro would  be available in three different storage capacities with an extra 256GB version. Pre-orders begin on 24th March 2016,  and the phone will be available on March 31st in US.

The Apple Watch is to come down in price to £207 ($299) from its launch price  of $349 according Tim Cook CEO.
