Neesham who was caught at extra cover for 27 from 11 balls, on the last ball of the 18th over swung the game in New Zealand’s favour in a thrilling finale as he smashed three sixes to steer them to victory, with 20 needed from 12 balls Daryl Mitchell hooked Woakes for two sixes finishing 72 not out from 47 balls ensured New Zealand won by five wicket with an over to spare. New Zealand, avenged their defeat of 2019 World Cup final, in incredible fashion, will face Australia or Pakistan – who meet on Thursday – in Dubai on Sunday.
