New Zealand lead the 5 match ODI 2-1 with 2 to play.

England regret doing the cardinal sin of  batting only 45.2 over of the 50 overs, 26 balls wasted and four dropped catches. Although England scored over 300 three times in this series lost two matches.

England collapsed from  194 for 3 to 288 for 5 and 302 all out in 45.2 overs. New Zealand also collapsed from 270-4  in 45 overs to 306 for 7  in 49 overs. Eoin Morgan hit 71 off 82, 4 fours and 2 sixes, Ben Stokes 68 off 47, 7 fours and 2 sixes, and Joe Root 54 off 63, 6 fours ,  and David Wiley 69-3their efforts were in  vain.

At 36-2 when New Zealand was in a spot of trouble, magnificent Kane Williamson 118 off 113, 12 fours and 1 six and seasoned Ross Taylor 110, a stand 206 really powered the New Zealand  win, after their successful run chase of 303 with 3 wickets and one over to spare.
