No18 London Red double decker bus ploughed across the pavement to a shopfront

17 people have been left injured after a bus crashed into a shop near the junction of Harlesden High Street and Wendover Road, at about 14:00BST, in Harlesden, North West London. Three people were seriously injured while 14 sustained minor injuries according to London Ambulance Service. London Fire Brigade said they rescued 20 people out of the bus and 45 people were evacuated from nearby buildings. Brent Council official said “ This incident will be investigated by the emergency services, until then it is in appropriate to comment”.

The High Street has been closed each way between A404 Manor Park Road and Acton Lane.
