World number one 28-year-old Serbian Novak Djokovic beat 34-year-old Roger Federer in four sets t 6-4 5-7 6-4 6-4 to win his second US open and 10th Grand Slam title at Arthur Ashes stadium, Flushing Meadows in New York.
