Pegasus airline on a cliff-edge in Turkey
The Pegasus Airline, flight PC8622 passenger plane skidded off a runaway and was teetering on a cliff edge after skidding off the runway in northeast Turkey narrowly avoided plunging into the sea saved by the mud bank while landing at Trabzon Airport on the Black Sea coast on Saturday night.
All 162 passengers and 6 member crew on board the Pegasus Airlines Boeing 737-800 miraculously escaped with no serious injuries reported.
Pegasus Airlines spokesperson said in a statement that the Boeing 737-800 aircraft flying from Ankara to Trabzon had a runway excursion incident as it landed, but all survived without any injuries.
