Prince George is seven
The Duchess of Cambridge, Catherine released two photographs of Prince George Alexander Louis, the future king born on 22 July 2013.
Prince William and Catherine were “delighted” to share the photos.
Prince George – known as His Royal Highness Prince George of Cambridge is the great-grandchild of the Queen and will be the 43rd monarch since William the Conqueror obtained the crown of England in 1066, and as expected he follows on as king from his grandfather, the Prince of Wales, and then his father the Duke of Cambridge.
He was born in the private Lindo Wing of St Mary’s Hospital in central London and appeared in front of the world’s media one year later when Prince William and Catherine stood cradling him on the hospital steps.
Earlier this year, the duke and duchess spoke about home-schooling George and his brother and sister while schools closed to most pupils during the lockdown.
The Queen leads royal family birthday wishes to great-grandson Prince George as he turns seven after Kate Middleton shares two adorable snaps of her son and his gap-toothed grin. The Queen’s official Royal Family Twitter account posted this morning: “Wishing Prince George a very happy birthday today, along with a celebratory cake emoji. The Queen(94) affectionately known as Gan Gan to the young royal, also shared one of the two pictures released by Kensington Palace to mark the occasion. The photographs were taken between homeschooling at anmer Hall – the family’s Norfolk home on Sandringham estate.
