Prince Harry defends his new love Meghan and asks for privacy

Prince Harry has asked for privacy over his love affair with a possible future wife a USA actress Meghan Markle. The Palace has been preparing a statement to say 35-year-old Markle of US drama ‘Suits’ is his “girlfriend”. Media interest previously to this statement had “crossed the line”. Apparently,  Ms. Markle has been subjected to harassment including a torrent of “racist and sexist slurs” from social media trolls.

Prince Harry’s communications secretary Jason Knauf issued a supporting statement including the fact that Harry wants to settle down and have children in the nearish future, and that he is aware of his supporting fans as well as his privileges and that he has tried to develop a thick skin to media intrusion.

The statement has been issued in the hope that press and media personnel will take note and give the couple some privacy.

Both previous deep relationships – with Chelsea Davey and Cressida Bonas were subject to high levels of media interest.
