Royal visit of India: William and Kate in Delhi
Prince William and Kate Middleton, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, attended A Royal Summer in Delhi and had lunch with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Hyderabad House. The Duchess of Cambridge customised her £800 jade-green lace dress by Temperley, London, by lengthening the dress with extra fabric to cover her décolletage and thighs for lunch with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Royal tour of India is fashion window for admirers of Kate’s designer dresses from world famous Alexander Mc Queen, Jenny Packham, Saloni, Rupert Sanderson and Emilia Wickstead.
The green hue dress included feminine lace and voile pleats in the hem. Earlier her cream Emilia Wickstead dress was blown up by the wind as she laid wreath at a war memorial in Delhi. Earlier William and Kate arrived at the contact centre run by the charity Salaam Balak, which provides emergency help and long term support for homeless children at New Delhi railway station and met some of the 6000 children who travel to New Delhi each year, often fleeing from poverty and abuse.
