Shock defeat for Novak Djokovic at Wimbledon
Shock defeat for Serbain Novak Djokovic at the Wimbledon by American Sam Querrey, seeded 28th, ending World number one’s hope of a calendar-year Grand Slam after winning Australian and French Opens this year.
Querrey defeated Novak 7-6 (6-6) 6-1 3-6 7-6 (7-5) third round win after rain had suspended play on Friday evening.
It is his first major loss since 2015 French Open final.
Second seeded, Britain’s Andy Murray, however, completed his winning streak to round four with a 6-3 7-5 6-2 win over Australia’s John Millman.
