Storm in a Beer bottle

Prime Minister Boris Johnson apologised last week  after days of speculation, but told MPs he was only at the party for 25 minutes adding ” I thought it was a work event”.

Sir Keir Starmer has refused to say sorry over images of him drinking beer in a constituency office at a time when indoor socialising had been banned under Covid rules.

The Labour leader has urged Boris Johnson to resign over parties at No. 10  when England was in Lockdown.

Cricket players and staff from both Australia and English teams were partying loudly in the their hotel  and police were called to break up drinking session marking the end of the Ashes Series. The England assistant coach broke law in Tasmania by smoking indoors and police were called to  a 6am drinking session. Police said they received a complaint about “intoxicated” guests at the teams’ hotel after arriving, told the revellers that it was time for bed. The session was on an outdoor terrace on the fourth floor of the Crowne Plaza hotel in Hobart, where both teams were staying;.
