The great Scunthorpe gold rush treasure hunt
Five pieces of art work by Luke Jerram are going up in the 20-21 Arts Centre, on Saturday 18th February 2017, each with a clue as to the whereabouts of five small artifacts cast in 18ct gold, each worth £2, 500, have been hidden around Scunthorpe and North Lincolnshire, and the deal is finders keepers.
The pictures will be on display from 18th February 2017 to 29th April 2017. The exhibition which opens at 10am and you can be there to solve the clues to find the artefacts. The first to find keeps them.
Mr Jerram said: “I like the idea that ancient objects that were once hidden beneath the earth were discovered and displayed at the museum are now being rehidden. I hope the public will enjoy visiting 20-21 Art Centre and exploring the town and surrounding countryside.”
