The Nintendo Switch is finally here
Nintendo’s newest console, Switch, launched today March 3rd 2017, pitched as a home console you can take on the go, its battery life has become a big talking point, as Nintendo confirmed the battery will last upto 6 hours. Nintendo is pitching for $106bn games market of which $42bn is mobile game market.
Gamers have formed big queues in Tokyo, Japan to get Nintendo Switch.
GameStop in US will offer the regular system as well as two limited bundles, – Switch m a Switch Pro Controller and a copy of Legend of Zelda:Breath of the Wild for $429.99 and the second option will include all of that and a Zelda strategy guide for $454.99.
In UK, you can pre-order Switch console from very.co.uk for $279.99, and the Legend of Zelda:the Breath of the Wild for £49.99.
Switch played Breath of the Wild for one hour continuously after which the console was charged using AC adapter for another hour to see how much charge it recovers.
With 100 % brightness and Wi-Fi enabled -36% battery life after one hour played and _47% after one hour charg, but with 50 % brightness and Airplane mode -31% after one hour of play and _45% after one hour charge.
A dead battery will take three hours to fully charge. The AC adapter provided with the Switch has an output of 5V/3A via a USB-C port.
