This is us – but is it also you?
This Is Us – FILM REVIEW – RAINDANCE FILM FESTIVAL VUE LEICESTER SQUARE SEPTEMBER 2017
Jerry J White 111 is the director and one of the executive producers of This is Us. I met this young dynamic entrepreneur in the bar before the screening, who had just arrived from LA. Jerry recently changed his career from advertising and marketing to working behind the lense on film projects and is well located as though hailing from Missouri, he now lives in Los Angeles.
This Is Us had its international premiere on Thursday 28 September at the Vue Cinema Leicester Square. It is an “analysis” of a young couple’s love affair and as is often the case, affairs of love never seem to run smoothly or without hiccups.
Starring Jessica Lyn Parsons (pictured) and Raymond Creamer, the executive producers, Jerry J White 111 and Raymond Creamer have brought to our screens the story of an on off love affair between two young people who are fighting to keep their union sacred despite infidelities and differences.
The screenplay is written by Kyle Mattocks and Sam Dottin. It is a familiar theme as no-one can fail to recognise. Obviously low budget and, as love affairs are known to us all – young and old, you must make your own interpretation on how you decipher this conundrum of the course of true love never running smoothly.
A little unlike Hollywood – there is little razzle dazzle in this tale…..but it is showing embryonic work by Jerry J White 111….undoubtably this young auteur will be producing more treats of films long and short in the years to come. This is Us is 86 mins long. Enjoy….
