Train run through block of flats
In Chongqing, China, home to 8.5m people, a light railway track has been designed to run directly through a hole in a 19-storey block of flats, between floors six and eight. The building has been acoustically insulated which does not allow any sound louder than a working dishwasher, as the train only generates 60 decibels.
Chongqing is the mountain city and has a population overcrowding problem. These block of flats was built at the same time as the railway with a station in the building.
