Turkish Airliner diverted to Delhi after security threat
“There was a bomb threat to the Turkish Airlines flight and therefore they decided to land it in New Delhi,” according to a spokesperson from the federal Central Industrial Security Forces. Turkish Airlines flight TK65 from Bangkok to Istanbul, made an emergency landing at Indira Gandhi International airport in New Delhi, after their crew spotted a messaged on a toilet mirror written in lipstick.
The message reportedly warned that there was a bomb in the cargo hold.
The plane was move to isolation bay and police have searched thoroughly, but no bomb was found.
The plane landed safely at the Indira Gandhi International airport and all the 148 passengers were evacuated.
