Uber’s UK boss quits as Khosrowshahi flies in to save Uber London Licence.

Joe Bertram, head of Uber’s northern  European markets said she will move on after four years at the company having joined as general manager for the London office.

Dara  Khosrowshahi, Uber’s new chief executive, was due to meet Mike Brown, head of Transport for London, for a conciliatory meeting after the regulator ruled Uber was not “fit and proper” to hold an operating licence.

Khosrowshahi, who joined from Expedia in August 2017,  want to start a constructive dialogue, as he promised to transform the corporate culture at Uber and has already issued an open apology to Londoners.
