Users of WhatsApp can mute a chat forever from today

Facebook-owned WhatsApp messaging platform has rolled out a new feature to allow its users from today to mute both individual and group chats forever.

Previously WhatsApp offered three options under the Mute tab – 8 hours, 1 week, or 1 year. The app has now replaced the 1-year option with “Always”.
