Vijay Mallya gets permission to appeal against extradition order
Vijay Mallya had been granted permission by a London court to appeal the UK’s decision to extradite him to India. There’s a “real risk” that political pressures “ will undermine the fairness of any trial”. Mallya said He also claimed that Barrack 12 of Mumbai’s Arthur Road Jail is “unbearably hot in the summer” and is infested with rats and insects.
