Wayne Rooney- England Player of the year for 2015

England Supporters Club has named Wayne Rooney as the England Player of the Year for 2015, retaining his title he won in 2014. England captain Rooney, 30 who earned 37 per cent of the votes, scored five goals last year overtaking Sir Bobby Charlton as England’s record goal scorer during Euro 2016 qualification.

Spurs striker Harry Kane was the runner-up with 30 per cent and Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart came third with 19 per cent.
