While Daniel Craig works on Spectre there’s already speculation on the next Bond…
Dominic West, Damian Lewis and Eddie Redmayne are all contenders to take over after Daniel Craig’s fourth James Bond film Spectre is released on 6th November this year. All three actors are the products of England’s top public school, Eton. However ghost writer William Boyd has a different view of the type of person the next James Bond star should be and he feels a half Scottish half Swiss Bond (as Fleming created him) should not come from Eton, and maybe an old scholar of Fettes – Scotland’s top public school in Edinburgh would be the better contender for the part. Boyd himself was educated at Prince Charles’s old school Gordonstoun and feels strongly that Bond should not be an English Etonian – well, we shall see. Hackney born Idris Elba has already ruledĀ himself out.
In Spectre, Bond’s enemy tells him “You are a kite dancing in a hurricane Mr Bond” – Spectre originating from an International crime syndicate in the 60’s. Director Sam Mendes is on board and a new Bond girl, Monica Belluci aged 50 will be debuting. Other stars include Ralph Fiennes and a host of other famous names which you can find if you google the film together with clips. Spectre – the sinister organisation is the focus of the action and there is a huge amount of Bond fans waiting with excited expectation to see Daniel Craig, aged 47 star in his apparently final Bond movie.
