William and Harry open up with Diana memories
Princes William and Harry have decided to honour her mother, Princess Diana, on the 20th anniversary of their mother’s death.
Prince William and Harry bared their souls in a candid and emotional interview they have given about their mother. “ The things I’d have said to her if I knew it was the last time we’d speak. Looking back on it now it’s incredibly hard”: William and Harry’s agony over a final phone call with Diana.
Princes Diana had played many roles from the ‘People’s Princes’ to style icon and tireless charity champion.
Princess Diana told them they could be as naughty as they liked- the trick is not to get caught, her sons revealed. “She was one of the naughtiest parents. She would come and watch us play football and snuggle sweets into our socks”.
William, Duke of Cambridge said he would never forget another prank involving a trio of supermodels. He revealed, ” She organised when I came home from school to have Cindy Crawford, Christy Turlington and Naomi Campbell waiting at the top of the stairs. I was probably 12 or 13-year-old boy who had posters of them on my wall. I went bright red and didn’t know quite what to say and sort of fumbled and I think pretty much fell down the stairs on the way up. I was completely and utterly awestruck.”
