Boris Johnson, the UK Prime Minister said the summit will be the “World’s moment of Truth”.
The United Nations gathering is one of the biggest summits the UK has ever hosted, and was delayed a year due to the pandemic. COP stands for Conference of the Parties and it is the 26th conference. Most of the leaders are arriving late on Sunday as many are travelling from G20 summit in Rome.
Despite decades of talking the planet is now at least 1.1°C hotter than the

Prince Charles will address the G20 Summit later telling world leaders they have “an overwhelming responsibility to generations year unborn” at COP26 and “a change in attitude and the build-up of positive momentum” to take urgent action.
