Royal Challengers Bangalore won the toss and chose to field. Q de Kock 60 off 52 gave a very good start for Delhi Daredevils but were limited to 138/8 by excellent bowling by YS Chahal’s 3-32. The chase was spearheaded by captain Virat Kohli’s 54 not out off 45 with 6 fours and his 17th 50 in T20s this year in 26 innings.
RCB climbed to second on the points table which means Delhi Daredevils bow out of the tournament, with only one win away from the playoffs.
