Mukesh Ambani tops the Forbes list of Global Game Changers
Forbes released today its second annual Global Game Changers list featuring the most influential business leaders from around the world based on corporate growth, innovation and international presence, with at least a market value pf $1bn.
The list included The Wizards from Oz, Scott Farquhar and Mike Cannon-Brookes the Australian billionaires behind enterprise software giant Atlassian, with an IPO in 2015 and annual revenues of $600m, Atlassian is one of the most successful technology start-ups in Australian history, whose users include NASA, Snapchat, Twilio and Spotify. The list also includes founder of home appliances company Dyson, and renowned inventor James Dyson from UK, Blackrock Co-founder Larry Fink, American Global investment management corporation, Deputy crown prince of Saudi Arabia Mohammed bin Salman, Social Media Snap co-founder Evan Spiegel, Chinese ride sharing giant Didi Chuxin founder Cheng Wei Slack creator Stewart Butterfield, Alibaba logistics maestro Judy Tong and African retail tycoon Christo Wiese.
Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani lead the Forbes list of Global Game Changers who are transforming their industries and changing lives of billions of people around the globe.
The oil and gas tycoon entered India’s telecom market with a bang offering fast internet at an extremely low and affordable price and amassed 100 million customers in six months and set off a wave of consolidation in the market. According to Ambani “Anything and everything that can go digital is going digital and India cannot afford to be left behind.”
