Julian Harrison, the lead curator of the Harry Potter exhibition and medieval historical manuscripts at the British Library, takes a look at the Broomsticks, crystal balls, handwritten drafts of chapters and an annotated sketch of Hogwarts school and a tombstone of Nicolas Flamel, a real historical figure who features in first novel Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, a Cauldron dated back over 3,000 years,  are on display at the British Library’s record-breaking Harry Potter exhibition: A History of Magic with  items from JK Rowling’s personal archive. The exhibition has already sold 30, 000 tickets.

The Exhibition in London marking 20 years since The Philosopher’s stone was published. The British Library’s major exhibition in partnership with Bloomsbury, Harry Potter: A History of Magic, opened in London from 20th October 2017 – 28th February 2018.
