27 dead and 100 missing after dam collapses

Over hundreds are missing and 27 people are dead as Dam collapses in southern Laos south-east Asia, flooding six villages. The $1.2bn dam collapsed after heavy rainfall. Rescuers are racing to find survivors after part of XePian X3-Namnoy hydroelectric power project the auxiliary dam “ Saddle Dam D” collapsed releasing five trillion litres of water surging through paddy fields and villages.
