Modi’s wax statue at Madam Tussauds
Madam Tussauds announced that a wax statue of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, would be unveiled in April. Narendra Modi ,came face-to face with his wax statute with folded hands in “Namaste” style dressed in white kurta pyjama and cream jacket, at a private viewing at his Race Course Road residence. The wax figure will now be transported to Madam Tussauds headquarters in London, and will open to public on April 28, 2016.
“What can I say? As far as art is concerned, the Madam Tussauds team is exceptional at what they do. What Brahma does normally is what the artists there are doing. Today, I had an opportunity as the prime servant of my people to meet my wax figure” Modi in a video posted by Madam Tussauds the celebrated was museum of London established in 1836, has 20 branches across the world.
All four figures took four months to create and costs £150, 000. In London, Modi’s statue will join other world leaders like US President Barak Obama, British Prime Minister David Cameron, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, French President Francoise Holland, Mahatma Gandhi and Winston Churchill.
