Boeing emergency landing after part of the engine blown away
Flight 3472, a South West Airlines. Jet Boeing 737-700, from New Orleans to Orlando, Florida made an emergency landing on Saturday morning after the pilot detected something had gone wrong with an engine. The flight was diverted to Pensacola around 9:40am CDT with no apparent injuries to the 99 passengers or five crew members on board according to SouthWest Airlines. After making the emergency landing the plane was taken out of service and the airline provided an alternative way to get passengers aboard the flight to their destinations.
Apparently part of the engine had blown apart.
