Six children have been killed and 20 injured in a school bus crash carrying 35 children home from Woodmore Elementary School, in Chattanooga in Tennessee, as it crashed into a tree.

Melydi Clewell, spokeswoman for the Hamilton County District Attorney’s Office, said the number of fatalities could rise as there are three children in critical condition. The Crash happened at 4pm (21:00GMT).
