South Africa win by 7 wickets
South Africa secured a 2-1 series win over India with a seven-wicket victory in the third Test in Cape Town.
Keegan Petersen top scored for South Africa with 72 in the first innings aned hit 82 in the second. The target set by India’s Rishabh Pant, whose 100 not out on Thursday went in vain.
It is only the fourth time in history India have lost a series after winning the first Test.
When Petersen fell after 113 balls with 57 runs still needed but Rassi van der Dussen made an unbeaten and Temba Bavuma with 32 not out steered South Africa home.
