Rashid took 3-29, and Topley and M Ali took 2 wickets each to bowl out South Africa in just 20.4 overs.

Liam Livingston top-scored with 38, hitting three successive sixes off Anrich Nortje while Curran made an 18-ball 35.

Moeen then deceived Heinrich Klaasen to have him stumped before Rashid claimed South African captain Keshav Maharaj, Dwaine Pretorius, and Lungi Ngidi as England raced through their 20 overs required to constitute a game.
