Two pilots sacked after letting a passenger into cockpit

Two pilots from Austral airlines let a passenger model Victoria Xipolitakis 29, during flight 2708 from Buenos Aires to Rosario in central Argentina,  into cockpit for the entire journey and was allegedly even allowed to fly the plane. The model posted selfies in Twitter, which was viewed by 397,000 followers.

Austral Airlines admitted there was a serious breach of safety regulations when the pilots invited Xipolitakis into the cockpit and even fly the plane. The pilots were discharged immediately and will be sacked like the rest of the staff who was responsible for this incident. The custom in the past of inviting children to the cockpit to see pilots during the flight, was scrapped following threat of terror attacks.

In the past a Mexican pilot was sacked in 2014 after letting a singer Esmeralda Ugalde (23) and her actress friend Samadhi Zendejas 19, into the cockpit and allowing her to fly the plane. Again photos showing Ugalde wearing pilots hat were posted in Twitter which went viral.

Also Indian pilot Sahil Arora34 of Jet Airways uploaded pictures of his friends to get Selfie images in the cockpit, on his facebook page
