Alex Hales misses his century amid no-ball controversy and was dismissed for 94, was dropped on 19 by second slip on Saturday and reprieved off Pradeep’s bowling again on 39, when a diving Dinesh Chandimal floored a tough catch down the leg side, and again on 58 when Pradeep knocked Hale’s off Stump, but Umpire Rod Tucker incorrectly ruled that Pradeep had overstepped and called a no-ball and was denied a wicket. Pradeep who took 3 for 37 from 15 overs was also had three clear chances missed off his bowling.
