A 30-year old female passenger obviously drunk on a  Boeing 777, British Airways flight 213 which departed London at 11:57am GMT, to Boston has to be restrained after she tried to open an exit door at tens of thousands of feet in the air, mid-journey, according to Massachusetts State Police. The incident was not related to terrorism. The MSP police trooper were on the jet bridge and took the passenger into custody and investigated the incident. They interviewed passenger and flight crew and she will most likely face charges of at least interfering with flight crew.

British Airways spokesperson said the passenger was “unruly” and the crew asked that police meet the flight upon arrival.

The flight from London landed at Boston’s Logan Airport at 1:30pm local time about 30 minute ahead of schedule.
