In Urulanthanni in Kothamangalam, Kerala, in South India, a wild baby elephant came out of the forest to explore a village and fell into a well at midnight. Soon after a herd of  wild elephants was standing guard unable to rescue. At dawn when local residents who alerted the forest officials used a JCB to  dig a path for the  baby elephant to escape from the well. The herd of elephants were united at last and then finally the adult elephant salutes with the trunk to say thank you to the people who rescued the calf.
