Cassini’s grand finale. After 20 years study of Saturn by Cassini space probe is coming to an end by crashing in to the planet on Friday 15th September 2017.

A joint venture between the European space agency and the US space agency, the Cassini Huygens mission which has been orbiting around Saturn since July 2004. While NASA made the Cassini spacecraft, ESA is responsible for the Huygens probe, which travelled down through the atmosphere of Titan.

Although the original plan was the mission to last for four years, and the return on the investment (ROI) was very good for science, so it was extended and extended again, till we have essentially run out of fuel.
