Comic collector sells his £350k collection

Martin Morris who started collected at the age of five has a collection of 36, 000 Marvel and DC comics.

 

Martin Morris (63) from Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire, has a 1962 edition that introduced Spider-Man for the first time is thought to be worth over £10, 000.

Morris decided to sell them on eBay after having an heart attack and plans to spend the money on travelling the world.

 

Morris turned the pages of comic books to escape to a world of fantasy including swinging on a spider web, flying high in the sky and creeping around in a cape.
