Twenty thousand , Tube workers have gone on strike across the entire London Underground network in a row over pay and conditions. The strike officially began a 18:30 BST and will finish on Thurday 9th July 2015 at 21:30. Commuters are facing considerable disruption across the capital. First Great Western services to and from Paddington are also affected by a separate 48-hour strike RMT union.

However, London Overground, DL, Transport for London Trains and trams and London Buses all are operating a normal service. Heathrow Express, train services to Gatwick, Luton and Stanstead are all running as normal.

The strike was called after London Underground and various unions failed to agree a pay deal over new night tube service.
