The World’s first biggest underwater restaurant, designed by Snohetta, located at the southern most point of Norwegian coastline where the confluence of abundant marine wildlife. The restaurant’s 34-meter long monolithic form breaks the surface of the water to rest directly on seabed five meters below. Built with thick concrete walls lying against the rugged shoreline, the structure is built to withstand pressure and shock from the rocky sea conditions.

It looks like a sunken periscope , with a massive window which offers a view of the seabed it changes throughout the seasons and fluctuations weather conditions.

The building also functions as a research centre for marine life, providing a tribute to the wild fauna of the sea and the rocky coastline of Norway’s southern tip.

The coral landscape which stretches around the structure, draws all shapes and sizes of sea life right up to the glass leaving you with a special feeling as if you are surrounded by a fish tank. And you are the one on display and the sea life are actually looking in at you.
