Eagles of Death Metal make statement about gun issues in Paris
Last evening Eagles of Death Metal played a concert in Paris. At their previous Bataclan concert there before Christmas, 89 people were shot dead and dozens injured in a terrorist incident. A member of the band has told his audience yesterday that everyone should be armed. Jesse Hughes said if the audience carried weapons some of the deaths could have been prevented. France’s tight farearms regulations “didn’t stop a single f******g person from dying” he said.
The band from California played at a venue 2 miles from The Bataclan. Jesse continued to ruminate on the gun laws in his speech saying until nobody has guns everybody has to have them. Of course USA laws on guns are not similar to those in Europe and the rest of peaceful countries in the world.
Jesse is a member of the National Rifle Association and has endorsed presidential hopeful Donald Trump. He caries arms when in America.
Jesse told his audience they had a “sacred responsibility” to finish the concert they were playing when the attack happened.
